In fact fishermen from both sides are bound to cross the water of each others. Both countries must have such an agreement to release these innocent people without any delay.

Thank you Pakistan for nice gesture. Both countries should take a humanitarian view of fishermen problem. They are not terrorist or smugglers. They are poor people just fighting for their hunger.

ISRO regularly puts out bulletins over the radio to help fishermen in India to direct them to spots where it is highly likely to be a rich fishing ground. It is based on assessing the plankton, a fish feed, found naturally in the sea? It is found using the remote sensing satellites! As a note of thanks, Pakistani fishermen should be given free info as well, so there is no intrusion in each others' fishing grounds?:):)) Just a thought?:):)

Nice to see these poor fishermen finally able to go home due to a benevolent neighbor : ) It appears that Pakistan is sending these sailors home with bags full of food, maybe rice and daal to remember their well spent time in Pakistan where we feed all our guests quite well as part of our "mehmaan nawazish" generosity we inherited from our Mughal and Turkish roots : D deep and noble roots we are very proud of!

@Amir Indian : There is no point banging your head on a rock, as the Pakistanis will not be able to understand the importance & practice of secularism that we practice in India. That is because the Pakistanis are completely brain-washed by distorted history lessons & rabid hate propaganda against minorities. The religious fanatic overdose has resulted in the Pakistanis completely loosing their ability to reason, logic & rationale. Hence, we can not even have any sensible constructive debate based on logic & rationale with them. Just read the kind of responses we read in comments section, from the Pakistanis like Zak, Dr Salaria, Einstein Babar, etc.

Thanks for showing humanity and mankind to these innocent and poor fisherman who just unknowingly got into Pakistani Navy while doing thei jobs. I always hear such stories that Pakistan releases Indian fisherman but very often that India release Pakistani fisherman. Why always Indian fishermen are captured by Pakistani Navy, never heard Indian catching Pakistanis. India always prefer to stop them and send them back their water rather than keeping them hostile. Perhaps Pakistan makes it a matter of publicity to gain cheep news.

@Nadeem they purposely get caught for the Daal and roti they get in detention. They stand out as foreigners in Pakistan, some would mistake them for Africans. Anyway, thanks Pakistan for showing your magnanimity, towards India, as always.

Thank you Pakistan for the good will gesture. There must be some permanent arrangement to show the maritime border between Indian and Pakistan. Once held by any side the poor fishermen get released. Some times it takes even years. This devastates their family.

Imagine what happens to the families, especially socially vulnerable women and children, of the fishermen (both Pakistani and Indian) when they are jailed abroad.
