Sarwat Gilani, Fahad Mirza expecting first baby

TV star Sarwat Gilani, who tied the knot with Fahad Mirza in August of this year, is now going to be a mother.

Talking to Dawn.com, the 32-year old reaffirmed that she is "very much pregnant" and dismissed the possibility that a baby would halt her career: "I will continue working after having a baby. The world doesn't stop when you become a mother."

Gilani, who started out as a model, has built a lucrative career since by working in notable television dramas such as Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Dil E Muztar and was most recently seen in Aahista Aahista. Her recent drama Mata-e-Jaan also won her bundles of praise for her role as the bubbly, earnest young Haniya,
The actress walked the red carpet at Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn/Winter this week as Toni & Guy's Glamour muse and was definitely sporting a baby bump.
The couple had a high profile wedding three months ago that was a star studded affair. This was her second marriage, after the actress parted ways with her former husband, Omer Saleem.

It is indeed a soft image of Pak and we do need it in our prime newspapers. Its time to opt for more open and secular society if we ever want to save Pakistan from self destruction. The culture and history u r talking about has give us nothing except downfall and destruction.

@guest 66 .They are a Pakistani couple and have every right to be in a Pakistani newspaper.Nobody has given you the mandate to choose the image of Pakistan. History and culture,as you understand it, are not being discussed here. It is an item from entertainment industry and lots of people read DAWN only for its entertainment news coverage. There is plenty of room for everybody in Pakistan.Don`t suffocate people who might think differently from you.

What industry are we talking about? Our actors copy SRK, our actresses will do anything to be in a Bollywood movie even if starring in a cheap item song. Where are the artisits that were actually Pakistani. Those golden days are gone. The artists of present are lost case. We hate America yet our entertainment industry copies everything from Hollywood and the regular citizens will do anything to move to USA. We are a hypocrite nation and that is the reason of our downfall and destruction--not the rich and powerful culture we once had.

What a horrible thinking. It's happy news for the fans of sarwat Gilani. Every news is not meant for every one. If someone is uncomfortable with this, plzzzzzzz don't come to this section.
PS. All these negative comments are coming from those who Infact lived in suffocating environment and are being so much sadist that they can't see others happiness.
