'Bigg Boss' famed Gauhar Khan slapped during TV show

KARACHI: ‘Bigg Boss, season seven’ famed Indian model and actor Gauhar Khan was slapped while she was hosting a television show, the Times of India said in a report published on Monday.

During the show, a 24-year-old man among audience misbehaved with her and later slapped her, saying she wore immodest outfits "despite being a Muslim woman".

Security guards apprehended the 24-year-old Aqil Malik and handed him over to the police.

Gauhar Khan, the younger sister of Indian actor Nighar Khan, had won the season seven of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ in 2013. The popular show is being run by Bollywood star Salman Khan for several years.

She had also performed in a movie titled ‘Miss India: The Mystery’. Gauhar Khan has established her fame for item songs, apart from being a model.

A case has been registered against Aqil Malik for attacking the actor.
