Pakistan warns India against issuing ‘provocative’ statements

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan strongly reacted on Saturday to Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar's ‘provocative’ statement saying the country was fully capable to defend itself and thwart any aggression.
According to a report published on The Times of India website on Friday, Parrikar warned Pakistan of a “strong response” after alleging it for aiding and abetting cross-border terrorism.
“I feel that there has to be some strong response which will once and for all reduce these blatant attempts. It's an open secret that they (militants) came from Pakistan,” said the newly sworn-in defence minister who has replaced Arun Jaitley – the current finance minister of India.
Jaitley was also criticised by Pakistan for issuing a statement in which he threatened the neighbouring country to choose between Indian government and Kashmiri separatist leaders.
“Allegations levelled against Pakistan in such statements by Indian Ministers are unfounded and provocative,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said in a statement issued here today.
She said such statements were not conducive to peace in the region. The spokesperson warned that there must not be any miscalculation about Pakistan's resolve to defend itself and thwart any aggression.
Parrikar’s statement came following his first official visit to Indian-held Kashmir to review the security situation there.
India had called off foreign secretary-level talks with Pakistan in August after the Pakistani envoy met Kashmiri separatists on the eve of the dialogue.

Excellent move ! Indians need to be told over and over again what their place is in the world order. Nawaz Sharif gets red carpet rolled out in US and UK, Raheel Sharrif is given full military honors in US, no one cares about India other than Indians themselves. India should learn to ignore Pakistan, because Pakistan has no economic or intellectual stand in world anymore. When Mr. Modi delivered his speech in Madison Square Garden (MSG) besides the 20000 strong Indian crowd there were 52 US Congress men and woman( House Reps. and Senators) THAT TOO ON A SUNDAY. President Obama gave Modiji a personal tour of the White House and to other Important Monuments in Washington. Mr. Nawaz Sharif was not accorded this kind of reception, Even the Pakistani diaspora was in such small numbers that one could count them on fingers. The red carpet welcome to Gen, Raheel is an eye wash . The US Government is checking on this guy by boosting his ego. The US military knows how much to trust the Pak Army after Osama Bin Laden was found hiding so close to the Garrison town of your Army.

You should travel with Pakistan passport than you will know the real respect for Pakistan, they will strip search you twice and may even torture.

Guys, think of this, should India decide to start a war, will it be just military crossing over. You are no where in terms of any reasonable strength. The 10% elite of Pakistan can just launch hot air balloons with their families in safe havens abroad. At the slightest hint of trouble they will go away leaving hapless 90% to fend for themselves.
People give it a thought ..... can you really handle a war. Are your lives already so easy that we have enough put away for that eventuality. Just think, how will you feed all your population.

I like this ...... If I were a cartoonist I would put 2 guys both with a revolver in hand (read nuclear weapons). Both are fighting each other- but the revolver cannot be used since fires from both ends....
So all both of them do is threaten each other.... the moment the trigger is pulled both will die...!
But till them both hit each other and get bloodied nose..... The people surrounding them (world) watches these fools in amusement !! Since both are fighting .... they get a chance to sell better revolvers/pistols.... sadly all pistols /guns etc fire on both ends .... !
