THATTA: Election

THATTA, Sept 12: Former PPP MNA Babu Ghulam Hussain Memon will contest the Oct 10 election for the post of Thatta district Naib Nazim, vacated by Mohammed Usman Malkani after his election as MPA in October 2002 elections.

This was decided at a party meeting held at the chamber of opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly in Karachi on Friday and presided over by Sindh PPP chief Nisar Ahmed Khuhro.

The Shirazi group has decided to field Syed Akram Shah Shirazi, currently Sujawal Taluka Nazim, for the slot of the district Naib Nazim.—Correspondent
