Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was released on a 14-day furlough by the Yerwada Central Jail authorities has come out looking fit. According to the Indian Express, the actor claims he has lost a lot of weight.

Speaking to reporters outside his residence, the Munna Bhai MBBS leading man joked: “I have lost 18kg. Now if I lose any more weight, I will vanish."

The actor is currently serving a five-year sentence for illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. Ever since his sentencing nearly 18 months ago, he has spent over 118 days out of prison which has caused quite a stir.

Sanjay said: “I didn’t get any special treatment. I had applied for furlough five months back, then later it was sanctioned. Thanks for all your support.”

Sanjay knows his filmmaker friend Rajkumar Hirani is making a biopic on him but said: “I don’t know what’s the status. I will talk to him about it.”

He added that while inside jail, he has “written 10 scripts and will start working on them soon”.
