SIALKOT: A 14-year-old girl was killed on Saturday in Sialkot's Shakargarh sector in an exchange of fire between Chenab Rangers personnel and the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along the Working Boundary, sources said.
Fourteen-year-old Samira was a resident of Sialkot's Aasi Nagar and following her death, panic prevailed in the area with locals starting to move to safer locations, sources in the Chenab Rangers said.
Moreover, eight-year-old Mursaleen of Bhika Chak was also injured as a result of exchange of fire in Shakargarh sector.
Indian woman killed in heavy Pakistani shelling in Kathua sector
In India, police officer Rajesh Kumar said Pakistani shelling in the Kathua sector killed a woman and wounded seven villagers.
Situation along the Working Boundary has been tense since India and Pakistan reported casualties in clashes in the area and near Line of Control (LoC).

Pakistan says the latest round of incidents began when Indian border guards killed two Chenab Rangers’ personnel in Shakargarh sector on Wednesday after calling them for a flag meeting on the Working Boundary.
Meanwhile, India says four Pakistani troopers were killed on Wednesday on the de facto border in Kashmir after the killing of an Indian border guard earlier that day.
On Friday, Pakistan renewed its demand for investigation into the killing of two paramilitary troops on the Working Boundary and said that the incident had damaged the bilateral mechanisms for peace on the tense LoC and WB.
Adviser on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz wrote a letter to his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj conveying the protest of the Pakistan government over the Rangers’ killing and calling for a probe and punishment for the BSF soldiers involved in the incident.

Both the neighbor should be ashamed of killing each other. No civilized country should do this in future. India being a big and powerful country should destroy terrorist camps inside Pakistan if Pakistan is unable to destroy. Kill all terrorists inside Pakistan but don't kill any innocent citizen.

I guess being in security force doesn't mean one can shoot at the right target with a reason got to be stupid which has been prevailing norm since 1947. Better solution is just Pak keeps concentrate on its soil matter, no need to feel sorry or to help the Kashmir to get freedom. Pak had some part of Kashmir and India had some. It is not ethical to infiltrate militants to support Kashmir separatists. Let India handle Indian Kashmir while Pak do in their part. Else, it will be always problem.

India don't want to kill even one citizen in pakistan, but terroist cam has been established by ISI and army at pakistan border. If you remember, Indian PM ordered to help victim in flood sitution in kashmir-pakistan. Pakistan people should beware of personality like hafeez saeed, Laqvi. They know very well, if both countries start to leave peacefully then next day they shop of illusion will be closed.

India is constantly causing instability through the afghan border, but of course that is justified right? Pakistan does not have the right to retaliate or say any thing for this matter. Just say that you(Indians) at least accept the fact that India has a major role in promoting violence in Pakistan from the Afghan border? 'Tali dono hathon se bajti he' so stop blaming only Pakistan. The desperation is evident from continuous cease-fire violations from pkistani side even after losing its Rangers and citizens. This shows, for pakistan, attack on India is more important than lives of its citizens. Hundreds of terrorists on pak side are ready to move into Indian territory, so they seek cover fire from Pakistani Rangers during night hours. Why do indians need to voilate cease-fire.

Pakistan has decided to approach UN as its last attempt at peace. The UN should rise to the occasion and deploy a UN force along Loc and the working boundary in order to keep the two forces separated before these skirmishes escalate to a nuclear exchange which is a very distinct possibility.
