The new teacher
THIS is with reference to the story “The new teacher” by Rabia Saadi (YW, December 13, 2014). The story was a very nice reminder to all children that they should not take their teachers for granted and should respect them and never try to test their tolerance.

THE story “The new teacher” by Rabia Saadi was well-written and had a great lesson for the readers.
It is a fact that teachers are the most important part of our lives and we owe them respect like we give to our parents.
Through this platform, I would like to request all the readers of YW to give love and respect to their teachers.
However, if you think your teacher is not fair with you, leave this matter to your parents and don’t judge him/her yourself. Teachers are much more educated, experienced and, above all, our elders so we have to respect them anyhow.

THIS is with reference to the poem “Mice” written by Eshal Zaidi (YW, December 6, 2014). The poem is originally written by Rose Fyleman and not by Eshal. It is very shameful of the writer to copy someone else’s work and giving it her name. I would request Eshal to write poems herself.

It’s time for the news!
THIS is regarding the website review “It’s time for the news” by Asif Ali (YW, November 29, 2014). I am a keen reader of Young World as it contains useful information about various topics. I really like the website reviews by Asif Ali, and “It’s time for the news!” was a very informative website.
My parents don’t allow me to surf on internet aimlessly because there are websites that are not kids-friendly, so the websites reviewed in YW offer me a chance to go straight to useful websites. Therefore, I would like to thank the writer as well as the YW team for providing us with great information.

An alien encounter
THIS is regarding the story “An alien encounter” by Zaina Ayub (YW, December 20, 2014). It was a short but very interesting story and I really liked it. I would like to request the YW team to publish more short and interesting stories about aliens and ghosts in the magazine.

Where did these words come from?
THE cover story on “Where did these words come from?” (YW, Dec 13, 2014) compiled by Ambreen Arshad was wonderful. I learnt all the words and their origins and I feel great about it. It was really an informative article.
