QUETTA: Two women and two children were among eight injured in a head-on collision between a car and a water tanker on Bypass Road in Chaman, on Tuesday.

Levies officials said that the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Chaman where doctors said their condition was critical and referred those seriously hurt to Quetta.

The Levies Force arrested the driver of water tanker and registered a case against him.

The water tanker was on way to supply water to an under construction project on Bypass Road. Further probe was underway.
