Oh really? There have been news like this atleast 100 times before. Many times evey year for past 20 years there have been some promisess, but hardly any progress. Please publish news only when there are some accomplishments. When port starts to generate revenue, when port creates many jobs or port area is safe and there is growing city population creating opportunities for all pakistani citizens. Ofcourse enemies of Pakistan (whether external or internal), would hinder any efforts to make gwadar port a success story.

China wants the port operational soon, for its visiting Naval ships in the Arabian sea and goods delivered to Middle East , Afghanistan and Iran in 2 days. Pakistan wants the billions rolling in from transit fees. The 2 brotherly countries are even more intertwined economically now, after Gawadar. A super power and a regional owner working togather.

Gawadar project can create around ten million jobs. And a city that will easily overtake Karachi and Lahore in development if given a chance.

This is the first time I see an actual name and description of a Chinese delegation. This means that things are really happening, because while our officials like to talk and waste time, the Chinese like to get things done. Before it was just politicians making promises, but now we see delegations on the ground. Fantastic news.
