LAHORE: Pakistan beach volleyball teams won their semi-finals against the Maldives to enter into the final against archrivals India at the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships in Male, Maldives. The final will be played on Friday.

Team ‘A’ consisting of Mubashar Raza and Abdul Razzak won against team ‘A’ of the Maldives 21-12, 17-21, 15-10, said a press release issued by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF).

Pakistan’s team ‘B’ consisting of Ismail Khan and Riaz Khan won against the Maldives team ‘B’ in the three-set with score being 24-22, 21-23, 15-8.

Meanwhile, PVF president Mohammad Yaqoob said that it was a great achievement for Pakistan players as they had recently started playing beach volleyball.
