Let’s face it, this is a disturbing news item. It has been relayed by the Urdu press that Pakistani actress Mahira Khan (of Hamsafar fame) has received threats from Hindu fundamentalists in India for being part of a film in which she has a major role opposite Shahrukh Khan.
If this is true, Mahira K should be extremely careful about it. She should either quit the project (for no project is dearer than one’s life) or ask the makers of the film to provide her with foolproof security.
