GWADAR: Three rooms of the Gwadar Port Civic Centre were destroyed when a bomb planted by saboteurs went off late on Wednesday night, police said.

Armed men entered the civic centre and after making private guards hostage planted the bomb on the third floor. They warned the guards to leave the building before decamping with their weapons.

Fifteen minutes after they left, the huge blast occurred, destroying three rooms and a portion of the third floor. The explosion rocked the entire port city.

No casualty was reported.
