LAHORE: Pakistan opener Ahmad Shehzad is likely to take part in training on Saturday ahead of their match against India on Sunday.

A PCB spokesman said a fast delivery hit the right forearm of Shehzad during the indoor nets in Adelaide on Friday.

“It looked like a bruise from the outside but as a precaution physiotherapist Brad Robinson thought it prudent to get an X-ray done, which came out clear.

“Shehzad is receiving necessary treatment and it is most likely he would take part in the training session on Saturday,” a PCB press release states.
