LARKANA: Pannu Aqil General Officer Commandant (GOC) Major General Muhammed Arif Waraich, Brig Hamid Nasir, Col Talat Waseem and other army and police officers, Larkana Deputy Commissioner Javed Ahmed Jagirani and a large number of villagers attended the funeral of Hawaldar Abdul Rahim Ghanghro on Wednesday who laid down his life fighting terrorists in Orakzai Agency on the night of Feb 16.

He left a wife, two sons, two daughters, and three brothers. The Hawaldar was buried in the graveyard of the village of Bhai Khan Ghanghro near Ratodero.

Wreaths were laid on his grave on behalf of the president of Pakistan, Chief of the Army Staff, Chairman Joint Chiefs of the Staff Committee, Karachi Corps Commander, GOC Pannu Aqil and Sindh Regiment Centre Commandant.
