Lost in the game

THIS is with reference to the story “Lost in the game” by Tuyyab Anwer (YW, February 7, 2015). I would like to appreciate the efforts of the writer for writing such a fine story for young readers, telling them that they must give more importance to their family and study instead of wasting their time in playing video games. Playing games not only wastes time but also ruins children’s health, mentally and physically. They become lazy and inactive.

Finally, I want to suggest to all the readers of YW that they should not waste their precious time in playing games and should instead spend more time in studying.

TAYYAB Anwer’s “Lost in the game” was an excellent story. I play video games most of the time, so after reading the story I felt ashamed of myself as the story opened my eyes.

I realised that I don’t spend any time with my family or friends.

But now I have decided to spend less time playing these video games so that I get ample time to spend with my family, friends and studies. I would like to thank the writer for writing on such an interesting idea.

I APPRECIATE the story “Lost in the game” by Tayyab Anwer and would like to add that the new generation is becoming more involved in computer games and as a result they are getting away from their real life which their parents should control.

Children should give first priority to their family and later to the computer and games.

I HAVE been reading YW for as long as I can remember. I enjoy reading it. I love all the sections such as “Word search”, “Historic facts”, “The weekly weird”, “Story time”, “Website review” and “Quotes”.

But I would like to request the YW team to please give more space to the quotes as I love reading them. Also, add some more sections like vocabulary list, crosswords, easy cooking recipes for young children and some other cool stuff.

Apart from that, 3 Bahadur comic is awesome. I love reading it. Thanks to the YW team for bringing out an excellent magazine every week.

I REALLY appreciate the efforts of the YW team in bringing out such an entertaining magazine which encourages young children towards reading. The new comics are very interesting, and my family and I love “The weekly weird”. The poems written by all the children are always awesome.
