QUETTA: The Balochistan government has extended police powers granted to the Frontier Corps paramilitary force for another three months.

A notification issued by the Home Department on Saturday said: “Frontier Corps would exercise police power for another three months in Balochistan.”

The government had extended the police powers to the FC after a suicide bombing in Hazara Town in February 2013 which caused death and destruction on a large scale.
