Sadiq Faqir remained secretary of the SAS Mithi and shot into prominence with his original compositions, he said and also lauded the singer’s humanitarian services.

Malhar Sindhi, acting secretary general of the SAS (centre), appreciated the melodious voice of the singer and said he was very much connected with the soil and its fragrance could be felt in his voice. He urged the Sindh culture department to establish an institute of art for singers training in Sindh in the name of Sadiq Faqir.

Sattar Hulio, secretary SAS Larkana, comrade Karim Baloch and Dr Munwar Kehar termed Faqir a talented singer who remained committed with his art and his popularity speaks of his links and connections with his admirers and lovers.
