Demanding science

THIS is regarding the story “Demanding science” by Sara Pirzada (YW, February 14, 2015). As I read the story, I felt like it was the true depiction of my life. I am going through the same situation as I get no time for hanging out with friends even in the school because we don’t get much free time. The idea of the story was very nice.

Art corner

YOUNG World is a superb magazine for kids. No other magazine can beat it in any way. However, I think the space for “Art corner” is very small which is why the size of the drawings has been compromised.

I think it needs a full page so that the size of the drawings could be bigger and more contributions can be included.

Note-taking — a magic potion?

THIS is with reference to the cover story “Note taking — a magic potion? by Benazir Raz Soomro (YW, February 7, 2015).

It was a nice article which gave me a lot of information on how to take notes and why note-taking is important. We must realise that taking notes is not a waste of time, therefore we must take notes during lectures so that we can understand our subjects in a better way.
