I wish my daughter joins armed forces. I wish I would have a son to join my Fathers regiment The 51 Lancers "The Silver Eagles" who participated with Alkhalid tanks in the parade.
51 Lancers were given the title "Silver Eagles" during 1971 war when they had to fire on enemy fighters while on board the trains.

51 Lancers The Silver Eagles
During November 1971 while moving to its operational area in Chishtian Sector the regiment shot down two enemy Hunter aircrafts and captured one of the pilots Flt. Lt Vikrim Singh. During this acting, two sowars of the regiment embraced shahadat. Sitara-i-Jur'at was awarded to Maj Tariq Baig (Commanding Officer Train) and Tamgha-i-Jur'at was awarded to Sowar Ghulam Abbas posthumously. The regiment was also given the title of Silver Eagles.

Great Display. Congrats to Pakistan!
No need to bash each other, may both India and Pakistan live in harmony forever.
British divided us, to make us weak, and we still haven't learnt anything after all those years. Every opportunity we get, we bash each other. Sometimes it just better to ignore an ignorant person...
I can assure you, Pakistani and Indians get along just OK, outside their homeland....

The good part is this is happening after a long time. While experts might debate on the timing, money and all.....but things like these are very important to ensure that the citizens of the country gather behind their army and feel proud of their country. This is a statement to the world by a very confident Pakistan. May you have this every year.

@Pervez India is great at insurgencies and that's what caused the break up , fighting an enemy that was hard to identify until he fired the shot. Pakistan Army did a superb job given the large tracts of areas and limited resources it had at it's disposal . And as for what is taught in Pakistan about history , it's certainly not "Mahabharata" , the standard Indian textbook of History !
