Larkana board results

LARKANA, Dec 22: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Larkana, announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate, Part-II, supplementary examinations, Science and General Groups, here on Saturday.

The pass percentage remained 77.16% (boys 73.30% and girls 89.31%) in the science group and 52.30% (boys 58.18% and girls 20.00%) in the general group.

The Larkana board covers Larkana, Shikarpur and Jacobabad districts.

Some 5777 candidates (4383 boys and 1394 girls) appeared in the science group and 65 candidates (55 boys and 10 girls) appeared in the general group.

In the science group 4458 candidates ( 3213 boys and 1245 girls) passed the examination.

In the science group, 5 candidates (3 boys and 2 girls) secured A grade ; 268 (152 boys and 116 girls) secured B grade; 2056 (1368 boys and 688 girls) secured C grade; 2106 (1672 boys and 437 girls) secured D grade, whereas 1028 candidates failed and results of 291 candidates have been with-held on various grounds.

In the general group, 10 candidates passed in C grade; 21 in D grade and 3 in E grade, whereas 31 candidates failed.
