Finally a breath of relief — our very own royal heartthrob Fawad Khan is all set to appear in Karan Johar’s upcoming film Kapoor and Sons.

The director-producer announced the cast on Twitter:

Ever since Fawad Khan bagged his Filmfare award for Best Debut in Khoobsurat, the media's been abuzz with rumours about his numerous ‘signed’ projects.

With Johar's tweet speculation was put to rest, and news is confirmed about Fawad’s presence in the film.

Directed by Shakun Batra, the film will see Aaliya Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra from Johar’s previous film Student of the Year alongside veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. Kapoor and Sons is said to be 'a modern family film with love triangle embedded in it.’
