The week-long Balochistan Sports Festival kicked off in Quetta's Nawab Bugti Stadium in connection with Pakistan Day celebrations.
As many as 26 different sporting events took place which included football, cricket, hockey, cycling, karate, chess, squash, boxing, shooting and badminton.
The chief guest of the event was Dr Abdul Malik, the chief minister of Balochistan.
