URDU-speaking people have long held the reputation of being sophisticated, mild and civilised. We have many renowned scholars, intellectuals, academics and others coming from the same community. Unfortunately, this image has been shattered by the MQM’s reputation and the misconception that every Urdu-speaker is part of the MQM.

People need to understand that the MQM is just another political outfit that is in no way representative of the entire community.
