TCKP Managing Director Mushtaq Ahmed Khan said on Wednesday that a Karigar village would also be inaugurated in the historical Gor Ghatri area of the provincial capital during the current month. He maintained that the TCKP was also planning to renovate hotels and motels in Kaghan, Kohistan, Chitral, Galiyat and Naran.

Mr Khan said that the TCKP also planned to establish a picnic spot at Malam Jabba and tourist information centres at Lahore and Karachi to attract more tourists from other areas of the country to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The TCKP managing director said that after the 18th amendment the provincial government had embarked on revival of the tourism activities keeping in view the progress of the province.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he said had immense potential with regard to cultural, traditional and historical sites and that it was need of the hour to give impetus to tourism activities in the province.
