KARACHI: All-Karachi Muslim Khatri Association Golden Jubilee Football Tournament will commence here on Friday (today) at the Noorani Eid Gah ground sector 11-G.

The tournament is being organised by the Hussaini Football Club with the permission of Sindh Football Association.

According to chief organiser Mohammad Sadiq Khatri, thirty two leading clubs of the city will be competing in the event which will be held on knockout basis. The opening match will be played between National Bank and Habib Bank teams.

Chief guest Khadim Ali Shah, President Sindh Football Association, will inaugurate the event today along with Syed Kamal Ahmed, Administrator District Central.

The participating teams are: Hussaini Football Club, Friends Football Club, Young Patni Football Club, Maymar Sports, North Brothers, Gulshan Soccer, Young Azizabad, Khalique Memorial, Ifran Memorial, Sajdi Momdon, A1 Star, Young Usmanabad, Baloch XI, Wajid Memorial, Baloch Star, Gharib Shah Union, Usmanabad Union, Baghdad Sports, Makran Sports, Young Hakkani, Frontier City, Mangopir Stars, Shahbaz Momdon, Ghani XI, Mauripur Baloch, United Sports, Shakeel Bilgrami and Sindh Balochistan.
