KARACHI: Three Pakistani cueists are set to feature in the 16th Asian under-21 Snooker Championship when it cues off at Beijing, China, on Tuesday. The event concludes on April 13.
According to the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF), the Chinese Consulate in Karachi has issued visas to the team and officials The PBSF has expressed its gratitude to the vice-consul of People’s Republic of China, Karachi Consulate, Mr Liu Guilin, for his kind assistance.
The cueists, who arrived here from Lahore on Thursday, are undergoing rigorous training at the National Bank of Pakistan Sports Complex.
The trio will be accompanied by as many officials including a Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) official, Azam Dar, who is director national federations.
The team leaves here by the Sri Lankan airline on Sunday evening.
