KARACHI: Asmavia Iqbal will lead Omar Associates in the upcoming fourth Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Women’s Cricket T20 Challenge Trophy in Lahore.

Nadeem Omar, the cricket-loving director of Omar Associates, while announcing the squad on Sunday said talented all-rounder Kainat Imtiaz would be the vice-captain of the side.

The Omar Associates squad will leave for Lahore on Wednesday to prepare for the opening fixture against Saif Sports Saga at the Gaddafi Stadium on April 13. The match starts at 2:00pm.

Adnan Jamal has been named as head coach of the Karachi-based team.
