ISLAMABAD: A 25-year-old woman on Sunday complained to the capital police that she was raped by three men in Gujar Khan.

A police official said the woman told the police that she used to work with a non-governmental organisation (NGO) till last month.

The complainant said she belonged to Gujar Khan but was currently living in the federal capital.

She said she wanted to marry one of her former male colleagues. She said the father of her male colleague, who was also a resident of Gujar Khan, called her to Gujar Khan to discuss the matter.

When she reached Gujar Khan, the father of her colleague along with two other men raped her, she alleged. Later, they left her in the limits of the Koral police on Sunday.

The police told the woman and her mother to approach the Gujar Khan police for the registration of a case as the incident had not occurred in the capital police jurisdiction.
