KARACHI: The two-day Karachi Boxing Championship springs into action at the Ustad Ali Mohammad Qambrani boxing stadium, Kakri Ground, Lyari, on Wednesday, says an announcement.
Being organised by Karachi South Boxing Association the event will form criteria to select Karachi team for the all-Sindh boxing championship being held at Tando Jam on April 25 and 26.
The competition will be held in 17 weights – five in boys (36kg, 38kg, 40kg, 42kg and 44kg), seven in juniors – (46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg and 60kg) and five in seniors (49kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg).
