Ayyan's remand extended, allergy medicine promised

RAWALPINDI: A district and sessions court here on Friday extended the judicial remand of supermodel Ayyan, who is being held at Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail in a money-laundering case.
Ayyan was presented in front of district and sessions court judge Bahadur Ali amid strict security upon culmination of her 14-day remand.

In the previous hearing, customs officials were directed to submit a challan in Ayyan's case, however, the challan was not presented today.
Ayyan's counsel Sardar Ishaq asserted in an application today that the customs investigations team is bound to produce the challan within 14 days however, it has not been presented despite the passing of 28 days.
The client is being harassed on purpose, the lawyer maintained.

The court subsequently gave the investigation team an hour's time to produced the challan, and extended Ayyan's remand till April 27.
During the hearing, when the judge asked Ayyan about the facilities available to her at Adiala Jail, a visibly upset Ayyan responded that she has contracted seasonal allergies but treatment and medicines are not available to treat her at the jail.
The court ordered the jail administration to ensure better provision of medicines and treatment to Ayyan.

Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials on March 14 from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad after $508,000 were recovered from her possession.
She was arrested for violation of Section 2(s) of the Customs Act 1969 which is a ‘predicate offence’ under the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) 2010.
A special customs court had rejected her bail plea on March 16 and sent her on 14 days judicial remand.

This case is becoming more suspicious on the part of judicial adminstration. What is going on ?

i dont get why court is dragging and lingering the case. if she is culprit or not, she has been caught with money which is illegal simple.and she admit that she was carrying so what is left. give verdict ,is it like out judges lack power of decisions or they are having soft corner that somehow she gets free. if i get caught on airport with drugs and i say its not mine etc would it be enough that i should be freed?? no right so what is out courts waiting for, although its not drugs but an illegal activity has been done and thats it simple

Ayaan has to be made answerable to each bad act she did against the law of PAKISTAN.
Why is she treated specially and has been given food with lavish living. She was our representation out side Pakistan she must be given a tough time so no other person could do such a nerdy act.

I wonder if they would get allergy medicine if they had allergies. Or would anybody care if they died.
$508,000 this is not just a crime but a very serious crime with possible connections to terrorism and Election Fixing and a lot more.
She should be given immunity to be a witness against the people who provided her the money to be laundered!

I hope that the authorities will not relent until she comes clean with all those that are complicit in this crime. For the several 'Majnu's' coming on this forum and sounding apologetic on this lady's behalf, you should ask yourself, would you be comfortable with a two tiered legal set up? One for the rich and mighty and another for 'Joe whatsisname'??

Its said that a premium intelligence agency helped caught her.Big names are floating in media may be involved and used her as a carrier for money laundering.
