RAWALPINDI: Murree Road will remain closed to traffic on Friday on the eve of the inauguration of the much-delayed metro bus project, sources said.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony. When City Traffic Officer Shoaib Khurram Janbaz was contacted, he said the road would be closed after Friday prayer and traffic would be diverted on alternative routes. Extra wardens will also be deployed in the city.
