Gunmen kill three cops in Karachi

KARACHI: At least three policemen, including a sub-inspector and two constables, were killed and another wounded early on Wednesday when unidentified attackers opened fire on a police mobile van in Karachi's Bhangoria Goth area, a shanty-town in the limits of the Azizabad police.
The assailants managed to escape from the scene after the attack.

Security and rescue teams reached the spot. Security personnel cordoned off the area as a probe into the incident went underway.

The director-general of Rangers, Major General Bilal Akbar, also visited the attack site.
Sindh's newly-appointed Home Minister Suhail Anwar Siyal also took notice of the incident and sought a report from DIG west Feroz Shah within two days.
Rescue sources said that the policemen were performing their routine night duties when they were attacked. They added that the victims were shifted to a nearby hospital.

There should be a police chowki on every street in sorab goth areas, and elsewhere, that has suspected TTP suspects. Police should be aggressively intrusive there. Every household NIC cards should be recorded. All movements checked. Then these terrorists will be flushed out.

This police recently solved a mysterious case of Safoora chowrangi and caught the murderers, but the same police did not have any information of the criminals. What to say? The only solution is to have local people in Karachi police so they would know each and every corner of the city and catch the culprits.

My all sympathies to martyred police officers. However, it is a known fact that terrorists are present in slums located in and around Karachi. They are feeling suffocated due to intense operation of LEAs, therefore they are attacking them whenever they find themselves stranded.
Keep the pressure on LEAs. Don't let them live another day. We, the people of this city, for the first time endorse extra-judicial killings. However, our LEAs must remain on high alert and respond to such heinous attacks quickly and befittingly.

These types of killing can't be stopped until we work to search complete areas in karachi wehere we think unlicenced weapons could be found.
No Force can controll city target killin , unless we stopped the supply on unlawful weapons and work to remove unlicences weapons.
