RAWALPINDI: Edhi returns from Kabul

RAWALPINDI, Dec 23: Chairman Edhi International Foundation Mr Abdul Sattar Edhi has returned to Pakistan after attending the swearing in ceremony of interim government of Afghanistan.

He was included in the delegation representing Pakistan in Kabul. The delegation was led by Foreign Minister Abdul Sattar.

A spokesman of the Edhi Foundation said on the request of the interim government of Afghanistan the foundation had provided the homeless, sick and the injured Afghan people all necessary help at Jalalabad on regular basis through its Edhi Home.

Edhi Foundation has been providing help to the affected Afghan people with food provisions, warm clothing, medicines and other essential items on regular basis.
