KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that he will soon be visiting Punjab to meet workers and people to organise the party from ward to district levels in order to field PPP candidates in the coming local government elections from all constituencies.

The PPP chairman, according to informed sources, expressed these views during a meeting with PPP central leader from Punjab Senator Aitzaz Ahsan who met the party chief and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari here on Friday at the Bilawal House.

They discussed the overall political situation in the country with specific reference to the party affairs in Punjab.

A meeting of the PPP Punjab leadership will soon be summoned to make preparations and formulate a strategy for the local bodies elections, the sources added.

Mr Asif Zardari said that PPP would continue its contacts with democratic forces to find solution of the problems being faced by the common man.
