Only last week the Sultan of Swing, Wasim Akram, walked the ramp for the first time with his wife Shaniera Akram. But it seems that wasn't enough excitement for the happy couple — they topped off their week by posting a selfie with equally sought-after star couple Imran Khan and Reham Khan.

Addressing Imran Khan as ‘skip’, the shortened form of 'skipper', Wasim Karam thanked the PTI Chairman for his hospitality:

It was under Imran’s captaincy that Pakistan won the World Cup of 1992. Did the cricketing legends get together to reminisce about their younger days? Although 'selfies' were unheard of at that time, Wasim and Imran still have quite a lot of photos together — here's a quick flashback:

After Wasim posted the selfie, Shaneira and Reham had a quick chat on Twitter with Reham calling the pair 'perfectly delightful' and Shaniera calling Reham 'Bhabi Ek' though it is quite possible that she meant 'IK'.

Fans of both legendary players re-tweeted the selfie which quickly went viral:

It appears to be selfie of the 'century':

Some were thankful to Wasim for 'bringing back Imran's smile':

It IS cute. Duh!

Selfie of the year? More plausible

Legends? There is no denying that for sure:

So yes it is safe to say that we will never get tired of Wasim Akram and would love him just the same like in that old ad when he is asked ''Waseem bhai aap thakte nahi?" and he replies "Kyun k me cigarette nahi peeta".
