LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday dismissed a petition filed by 12 former judges of sub-ordinate judiciary against their compulsory retirement.

The matter was fixed as an objection case before Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah after the registrar office raised objection on the maintainability of the plea.

However, the court after hearing the arguments of petitioners sustained objection and dismissed the plea.—APP
