Woman electrocuted

MINGORA: A woman was electrocuted and seven others received injuries in different incidents in Swat district on Saturday.

According to police, a woman identified as Sharafat was critically wounded after being electrocuted at Banjot, an area of Charbagh tehsil. She was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

In another incident, a woman identified as Roshni was shot and injured allegedly by her husband in Rang Mohallah area of Mingora. Father of the wounded woman lodged a case against her husband.

Meanwhile, in another incident six people including Nawab Khan, Shahi Dawran, Arif Khan, Ibrahim, Mahboob Elahi and Abdul Karim were injured in a clash with a rival group at Mohallah Jalokhel of Mingora city.
