Humayun Saeed's Jawaani Phir Nahi Ani has finally wrapped up shooting for its release on Eidul Azha this year.

Attended by the cast and crew, the wrap-up bash saw Humayun Saeed, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahmad Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Mehwish Hayat, Aisha Khan and Sarwat Gillani and others celebrating its completion.

Speaking about the film, Humayun said: “The final day of the shoot was quite tough as it was very hot in Karachi so it was a relief that it went smoothly. We had previously shot in Thailand, which was very enjoyable. Hamza, Ahmed, Vasay and I also got our faces clean shaved for the final portion which was quite fun. The entire team including cast members, crew and myself are very happy with the final results and excited to see the feedback from audiences now”.

The film's trailer, which closely resembles the Hollywood trilogy Hangover, shows the lead actors partying and having the time of their lives.

The film's shooting had its share of turbulence though, as Humayun had a car accident last year in Bangkok while he was there to shoot the film.

Not to forget Hamza Ali Abbasi's resignation from his political post in Pakistan Tehriki Insaaf (PTI) owing to the oh-so-shameful trailer of the film in which he checks out a bikini-clad woman! The actor had announced on his Facebook that he 'did something against what he preached'.
