LAHORE: Two people were killed in two accidents in the city on Friday.

A man, yet to be identified, was crossing Multan Road when a wagon hit and severely injured him.

A Rescue 1122 ambulance shifted the injured to a nearby hospital where he could not survive.

Thokar Niaz Beg police took the body into custody and shifted it to morgue and registered a case against the driver.

In another incident, Afzal Javed, superintendent of Wapda, was on his to home on motorcycle when a car hit and injured him near Muslim Town Morr.

The injured was taken to Jinnah Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

Police handed over the body to heirs, who refused to lodge the case.
