SUKKUR: The Sukkur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education on Friday announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate part-II (class-X) science and general groups annual examinations-2015.

Science group

According to the notification, a total of 51,468 candidates appeared in the science group exam.

Among the 35,253 successful female candidates, Hira Ambreen Soomro with 785 marks, Zehra Batool Zaidi with 779 marks and Tania Gul Memon with 773 marks clinched the first, second and third positions, respectively.

Among the 16,093 successful male candidates, Ramiz Mazhar Memon with 771 marks, Masood Ahmed Dahar with 767 marks and Kartar Sahil Telia with 762 marks, secured the first, second and third positions.

A total of 2,541 candidates passed the exam in Grade A1, 8,493 in Grade A, 14,770 in Grade B, 9,669 in Grade C, 2,574 in Grade D and 14 candidates cleared the exam in Grade E.

General group

In the general group, a total of 3,143 candidates appeared in the exam and 2,113 of them passed it.

None of the candidates obtained the Grade A1 or A marks while 574 passed the exam in Grade B, 1,110 in Grade C, 476 in Grade D and 39 candidates cleared it in Grade E.
