CHARSADDA: A man, his wife and daughter were gunned down by their rivals in Awal Din Korona area of Tangi on Sunday. The incident is stated to be result of an old enmity, police said.

Sister of the deceased, Sabir Shah, reported to Tangi police that Mubarak Zeb, Anwar Zeb, Amir Zeb and Atta Mohammad entered her brother’s house and opened indiscriminate fire, killing him on the spot. Sabir’s daughter, Sumera, and wife suffered critical wounds and were taken to DHQ hospital, Charsadda. However, both of them succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.

The Tangi police registered murder case against the four suspects and began investigations.

In another incident, Noor Habib was allegedly shot dead by Jan Syed over a land dispute in Sher Bahadar Kally area of Sar Dheri.

Hameed, son of Noor Habib, told police Jan Syed killed his father over a land dispute. The police registered FIR and began investigations.
