LAHORE: Eight players from Kasur district, who have been selected for forthcoming the Wushu Kang-Fu Championships in China, were honoured by DSO Kasur on Monday.

The Pakistan team is going to Beijing to feature in the world event to be held in the Chinese capital from July 17 to 22.

DCO Adnan Arshad Aulakh appreciated the efforts of the players for getting selected in the national squad.

The Kasur-based players who have been selected include Kabeer Khan, Shams-ur-Rehman, Nazia Parvaiz, Mohammad Umar, Sajid Ali, Jawad Naseer, Hubab Saif, Mohammad Naveed.
