After the revelation of the first look of Raees featuring Shah Rukh Khan, fans in Pakistan went on high alert for the film's teaser. But their anticipation, unfortunately, went to waste. There was not even a glimpse, let alone a scene, of our beautiful Mahira Khan, who plays SRK's leading lady in the film.

But Mahira is unperturbed. Speaking to BBC Radio from London, where she is promoting Bin Roye these days, Mahira said that Shah Rukh's gangster look is cool. Though she kept mum about her Raees experience, she did disclose that she has yet to take SRK's autograph or selfie, even though she is a fan.

While the teaser of the crime film didn't show other actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui or Farhan Akhtar, Shah Rukh did thank all of them by name as soon as it was out.

An actor who has enacted almost every kind of role, Shah Rukh plays a bootlegger who will go to any extent for power and money. His dialogues like "My business is my religion and kalma because no religion is bigger than business, and no business is wrong" show that he is least bothered by the law.

Following the steps of miscreants who set fire to public property, King Khan walks on the street holding a baton and is later shown as a politician who has mesmerised the public.

Given that his fans loved him when he played the lovelorn, inebriated Devdas, we think they'll also take to him in his role as the relentless Raees.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees will hit the screens on Eid 2016.
