CHITRAL: Flash flood hit three more villages on Wednesday, rendering hundreds of people homeless in Mori Bala, Werkup and Shagrom areas of Terich valley.
In Mori Bala village in Koh union council, nine houses were swept away early in the morning after the villagers had fled to a safe place. No casualties were reported.
Floodwater inundated more than 100 houses in the village, said Abdul Ghaffar, the chairman of a local NGO.

About 11 houses and shops were washed away in Werkup and Rayeen villages in upper Chitral. The debris blocked Torkhow road, adding to miseries of people.
Whatever left of the road – washed away by floodwaters soon after Eid – to Kalash valleys of Bumburate and Rumbur remains closed.
The executive engineer of Communication and Works Division, Maqbul Azam, told Dawn that repair activity had been started and the road would open for light traffic by the next week.
Meanwhile, the Al Khidmat Foundation has reconnected the flood-hit village of Mulkhow to other areas by constructing a make-shift bridge over the river in Muzhgole.
The bridge had been destroyed by the raging floods five days ago.
