KARACHI: Experienced all-rounder and Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Afridi on Wednesday visited Dar-ul-Sukun, which looks after and teach special children, and appreciated the role played by the welfare organisation.

“I keep this organisation and people running it in high esteem as they look after special children in such a good way, which we are unable to do with our normal kids,” Afridi said during his visit to Dar- ul-Sukunon.

The seasoned cricketer said he was also leading the Shahid Afridi Foundation, which he said was trying to help organisations like Dar-ul-Sukun working for the welfare of humanity.

On this occasion, Afridi, who extended full support of the Shahid Afridi Foundation to Dar-ul-Sukun, donated Rs2 million to Dar-ul-Sukun.

“This is a small amount I am giving to Dar-ul-Sukun but we will extend our full support in future as well and will help in any way we can,” he added.
