**After news came in that notable Indian film director Muzaffar Ali will be visiting Pakistan on the release of his love saga Jaanisaar, many were curious to know when exactly will that be.

The film, which is actor Imran Abbas's second Bollywood venture, is opening in Indian cinemas today, and will be released in Pakistan on August 28, according to Abbas's Twitter post today:

With Imran Abbas and fashion entrepreneur-turned-actor Pernia Qureshi in the lead, Jaanisaar marks the comeback of Muzaffar Ali who is known for the cult classic Umrao Jaan. Singers Abida Parveen and Shafqat Ali Khan will be lending their vocals along with Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh and Malini Awasthi.
