In a press release circulating on Twitter, Reham Khan has announced the full cast and crew of her first film, Janaan.

The romantic comedy, which is being produced with the aim of showing a softer side of Pakistan and Pakhtun culture, will also star Bilal Ashraf, in addition to the earlier announced actors Armeena Rana Khan (of Bin Roye fame) and Ali Rehman Khan (of Diyar-e-Dil fame).
Bilal Ashraf and Armeena Khan are also starring together in Dr Hassan Waqas Rana's Yalghaar.

The project is being helmed by Siyaah director Azfar Jafri, and is being jointly produced by Reham and Siyaah production company IRK films. The story, which is being written by Osman Khalid Butt, will be set in Swat and other Northern Areas of Pakistan.
The film will be ready to release next year.

What is the main purpose of the film? Why Raham has to get involved in this kind of film making?
Imran, Reham, you have to be careful about maintaining your public image, which is best suited to your reformer politician. If this film will make a lot of money for you and will maintain your best image, go ahead, otherwise don't be part of it.

I think in all sensibility Reham Khan should slow down, she is trying to move too fast. Being wife of a big political leader she needs to understand the fragility of her position especially when the entire media likes her to quote & commit. She is a well educated person & has a pleasing personality but things in Pakistan especially for a person of her position demands firm & calculated steps & not a hurried one.

If her party, on whose behalf she tweets 24/7, tell the masses how to go about their lives by agitating against the state, break laws by not paying electricity bills and so on, then surely she should accept that people will have the right to criticise her.
Naya Pakistan is all about freedom of speech right?

People need to get used to women in public life and leadership but women. We are very male oriented society and no gender equality. People have lots of suggestions and views how Reham should behave or what she should do! Please encourage women to take center stage in Pakistani life, they can turn country into a better place!

@Asra - What a lie, have you ever been to KPK? All social development indicators of health, education and law and order are going up in KPK. There is more enrollment in primary schools, better public health facilities, crimes have gone down 60%, corruption has gone down. What else do you want from a government which is just a little two years old? There is a reason why people have given more seats to PTI in local bodies election. If you want showy highly subsidized projects like metro then dream on for a better Pakistan.

Justice system destriyed, wajih is an example. Educational funds not utilized as in Hazara and many other places still schools are not refurbished which are around 600, Police system is still old in almost 90% of KPK. Reham Khan should make a film as to how PTI works only of PTI Facebook page but not on ground.

I had voted for the PTI hoping to see real and concrete development in the country. I am not a crazy PTI fan who would ignore the truth just for face keeping of the party.

Freedom of choice is indeed a baffling concept.
Z.A. Bhutto chose to Govern West Pakistan, whereas, Mujibur Rehman chose to Govern East Pakistan, to meet the situation emerging out of National Elections of 1970.
Khan Saheb leading Frontier Province, Mrs. Khan in Film Production, its a choice, a personal matter.

You must visit KPK for Dubai to see the change. Actually the matter is, our nation considers the change as benefit to their personal life Laptop, Metro, Roti Kapra Makan, etc.
You must visit once I am saying, Education, Police, Accountability Bureau, all going at higher pace than any other province. Even judges quote KPK examples to other provinces in their report.
Another huge example is early LG polls and that too if considered rigged again, with higher victory.
A fighter in your family is never an enemy to you or your parents but he fights for what is right.
But a silent in the family hurts more to the parents and others than the one who is not.
