SUKKUR is the third largest city of Sindh. It has a population of about 1.5m. The city is quite rich in culture and is the proud possessor of a great history, like the Indus civilisation. It is one of the five divisions of Sindh. In spite of this status, it does not have any government university.
This has deprived Sukkur’s youngsters of higher education. The problem is acute, especially for girls who are talented, determined and motivated but do not find any university in the city where they could go with ease.
