BEIJING: China on Thursday held a military parade marking the 70th anniversary of its victory over Japan in World War II, the parade was held at Tiananmen square.

Delegates from over 17 countries attended the parade, along with foreign troop contingents. President Mamnoon Hussain and President Vladimir Putin were among the visiting heads of state.
